Fieldwork

Prior to joining CU, I worked in the development and sustainability governance sector in India for World Bank, USAID, and IFAD-funded developmental projects. My work was situated at the intersection of policy and implementation where I was focusing on grasping complex issues addressing environmental governance, poverty, and livelihoods. I was presented with the opportunities to work in some of the remote rural and tribal areas of India. My fieldwork experience in 13 states of India over five years continue to shape the kinds of research questions I engage with.
